NEW COLLECTION: Colorful Spring Wedding Flowers
Meet one of our new floral favorites, the Colorful Spring Collection! As it’s name suggests, this is one of the Flower Lab’s most vibrant wedding flower packages. Each bouquet and arrangement is made with a beautiful mix of bright flowers perfect for a spring or summer wedding. This festive palette is a lovely blend of both pastel and mid-tone colored blooms so it creates a colorful look without being too overwhelming.
Of course, this fresh flower collection includes all the wedding party and family member flowers you need, like wrist corsages, floral crowns, petite bouquets, boutonnieres, and our NEW pocket boutonnieres! If you’re nervous about pinning boutonnieres on correctly, pocket boutonnieres are fool proof and are as easy as sliding them into your tux or suit pocket. If the groom or gentlemen in the wedding party bought their own suits instead of renting, this is a great way to make sure they don’t get any pinholes in their new suits. They also provide a fuller look and is a great way to have the groom standout from his and groomsmen.
Don’t forget that our flower crowns come with an adjustable ribbon tie so they can work on junior bridesmaids and even as floral dog collars for your fur babies or other wedding day pets. They make for sure cute photos!
Large Floral centerpieces
Aside from adding new pocket boutonnieres, we heard your requests for larger centerpieces and focal point flowers. This cheerful wedding collection was the perfect time to go big and we’ve added two stunning arrangements that are sure to take your wedding decor to a new level of stunning. The first is a large wedding arrangement that is available in either an urn or a tray, depending on your wedding design needs.
A few of our favorite ways to use the large wedding arrangement are as the backdrop for your ceremony setup, down your ceremony aisle, placed with your escort cards, or really anywhere that you want to draw the attention of your guests—your bar, framing your head table, or greeting your guests as they approach the reception entryway.
The urn option is particularly fitting for use on pedestals or placed directly on a table or bar. One application that can really dress up your food display table or bar is placing the urn on a small riser. While this is not something we provide, many venues and caterers can easily provide a small riser; just make sure you let them know that the base of the urn is about 4” in diameter.
The tray option is ideal if you plan to use the arrangements on top of vases or tall containers. They can also be pedestals if you want a more organic and overflowing look.
Low and Long centerpieces
The second stunning large floral design we’ve crafted for your wedding needs is the long and low arrangement, which is ideally suited for farmhouse tables, king’s tables, or family-style tables. They also look lovely across fireplace mantles, at the base of sweetheart tables, or around the base of your cake to create the very popular “cake meadow” look you see on Pinterest.
Many people like these centerpieces because they add a lot of visual impact to your tables without obstructing any views for conversation. Pair with votives, taper candles or floating candles for an added romantic touch.
Bud Vases
The other item we have added to each of our flower packages are bud vases!! Bud vases are extremely versatile and can be used in a multitude of stylish ways. Consider these decorating options with bud vases…
Use a single-bud vase on a cocktail table or cafe table during your cocktail hour.
Using “the odd number grouping rule” when decorating—3 bud vases and 3 candles (of any type votive, pillar or taper)— creates a beautiful centerpiece for 4ft or 5ft round guest tables. If your venue has 6ft rounds, bump those up to 5 each or go with a large centerpiece.
Bud vases and candles also work beautifully down the center of long banquet tables, fire place mantles, dessert tables, and so much more!
Ceremony Flowers for your wedding structure
Wedding flower arch pieces add the perfect touch to any ceremony arch, gazebo or other structure. You can combine multiple for a fuller look, use two of them offset for an asymmetrical look, or opt for a single arrangement. If you opt for the single, we suggest that it is hung in a corner and not directly above your heads so it can be seen better by your guests and captured in your ceremony wedding photos.
Pro Tip: If you no longer need your ceremony arch and are heading off to the reception, remember to simply cut the zip ties and take this piece on to the reception to be repurposed as floral decor there!
We’re looking forward to seeing all the beautiful wedding photos that this flower collection will create! It will pair beautifully with blue, light green, pink, peach, and coral. It would also look stunning paired with blue and white toile linens or chinoiserie vases or candles...that would just make our hearts sing with joy!
